This stunning Mid-Century Modernist Expressionist oil painting (circa. 1956) features deep blue grey to cobalt blue abstraction with gouged and scraped linear forms complimented with areas of orange vermillion & seam foam green highlights. It has also been signed by Ellis which can be seen on the bottom right corner, surrounded by a slate metal frame.
